Natural Abrasive Sand
Natural Abrasive Sand is a mineral abrasive produced from naturally occurring almandite natural abrasive. It is produced by processing rock sand and grading to exact specifications. Due to its low free silica, natural abrasive is widely used in sand/grit blasting and now widely popular for waterjet cutting. Natural Abrasive is cost effective, environmentally and operator friendly, alternative to silica sands and minerals slags and will provide a class Sa3 White Metal finish. Natural Abrasive particles are dense, hard and sharp and free of heavy metals or toxic components. The low friability of abrasive permits recycling up to 5-8 times and the relatively high density ensures fast blasting speeds.

Sand Blasting grade: - 20/40, 20/60 and 30/60 Fine grains of Abrasive sand is recommended for blast cleaning applications. Water Filtration: 12/20 and 12/40 Coarser grains are used in a variety of filtration applications which include Industrial Waste Water treatment and commercial water filtration. Natural Abrasive Sand is possibly the most cost effective alternative for water filtration beds as it resets the filter bed more rapidly after the bed is back-flushed. Moreover, it is also effective for the elimination of heavy minerals. Furthermore it has the benefit of being chemically inert, recycle in resulting in longer production to Water treatment medium.
